To illustrate the problem, the Visually Impaired National Federation held a manifestation on Wednesday. The members traveled by city bus through Helsingborg and checked if they heard the stops.

- As a severely visually impaired person you cannot see through the window where you are and then you have to call out which stop to jump off at, says Christer H Persson, chairman of the Visually Impaired National Association Helsingborg-Höganäs.

During the journey, the members listened carefully, but several times both the exclamations and the calls failed.

- Once in a while I've heard it very weak, but if it is noise it is not heard at all. If I'm going to be a little tough then I think it's too damn bad, says member Jon Torenäs.

Technical problems

Skåne traffic demands that the stations must be called out and believes that technical problems are the reason why they sometimes fail.

- We regret that it does not work out fully at the present time and we are well aware that there is potential for improvement and we are fully focused on improving. There are often technical problems that make it not work fully, says Lisa Åhlén, Business Manager at Skånetrafiken.
