The origin of the arrests was a burglary attempt at a building near Toyota in Mjölby last night. Staff at the scene saw what was happening and the perpetrators fled the scene in a dark car.
In the morning today, a civilian noticed a vehicle with foreign registration plates as well as a quartet which he thought behaved strangely at a forest lot. When police arrived at the scene, they found a hide with tools that were suspected of being stolen when the building was broken into.
"The tools are usually not labeled"- Now a lot of work remains to see if these findings can be linked to previous burglaries. Unfortunately, the tools are usually not labeled so it can be difficult, says police spokesman Erik Terneborn.
He also says that the police have also previously found this type of robbery in the forest.
