“So we can continue a constructive discussion, which, I hope, will help the mutual understanding of our states,” the Estonian President’s website said in a statement.

It is noted that the leaders of Hungary and Finland, Janos Ader and Sauli Niinistö, were also invited to the congress.

Kalyulayd also noted that the Congress of Finno-Ugric peoples will help to discuss the preservation of the cultural heritage of these peoples in a changing world.
