The Personal Status Court in Ras Al Khaimah ruled that a health card (citizen category) should be returned to an absolute divorce from an Arab nationality, following the filing of a petition by a petitioner with the Urgent Matters Judge of the Personal Status Court. To the competent authorities to replace it with a card «expatriate category», since she is no longer his wife, and that the competent authorities asked him to hand over the card in her possession to avoid fines.

The judge of urgent matters in the Personal Status Court ordered the divorced woman to hand over her health card, and the woman filed a grievance suit before the court itself, requesting to address the competent authorities to respond to the validity of her divorce's claims about withdrawing her health card from her and returning her to the competent authorities.

The lawyer of the divorced lawyer, Hanan al-Bayed, told the court that the decision of the Court of Urgent Matters was unfair, because her husband was not entitled to receive the health card of his divorce, as he became a foreigner.

She explained that he asked for something that has nothing to do with it, as he wants to be the dominant of his divorce even after separation from them, and wants to subject them to him, and this is not from the law, nor from the law.

She pointed to the existence of an antagonism between her client and her divorce, which led him to exposure in her personal life, demanding the cancellation of the decision issued by the Court of Urgent Matters and the judiciary to reject the requests of her client's divorce, and obliging him to expenses and fees for attorney, and amend the grievance order to delete the phrase to replace health card «expatriate category» , So that women can obtain a health card «citizen category» to sponsor her daughter, so that she can enjoy the privileges of free treatment.

In the operative part of the ruling of the Personal Status Court, accepting the grievance in the form, and in the matter canceled the grievance order from him in his decision regarding the replacement of the health card «citizen category» health card «expatriate category», and his support in more than that, and obliged the complainant against fees and expenses 100 dirhams lawyer's charge.

The court explained that it addressed the competent ministry to inquire about the matter, where it stated that the competent authorities took measures to stop dealing with the health card of the grievance, and that any use of the health card after the date of divorce, under which the grievance bear all expenses and fees, which clearly demonstrates that the grievance is not entitled to use Health card «citizen category» after the divorce.

The court added that regarding the replacement of the health card «citizen category» health card «category expatriate», it is the right of the complainant to oppose the complainant against him to obtain a health card «category expatriate», because he is no longer responsible for them after the separation of marital relationship between them divorce.
