October 14, 2019Roger Federer will be on the field in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic tournament. The Swiss champion himself is the one who dissolves the reserves.

"I talked to my team for weeks, even months, about what to do next summer, after Wimbledon and before the US Open," he says. "And in the end my heart decided that I would like to participate again in the Olympics. I was Switzerland's standard bearer in Athens and Beijing, I won a gold (men's double 2008) and a silver (2012) and I would like to play again".

Tokyo's would be Federer's fifth Olympics, which debuted in Sydney 2000 but missed Rio by injury.
