Quito (AFP) After days of protests against rising fuel prices, the Ecuadorian government and the indigenous movement have reached an agreement. The government of President Lenin Moreno will rescind a controversial decree stating that government subsidies for fuels have been cut, as UN mediator Arnaud Peral said on Sunday. In return, the indigenous movement stops the protests.
