According to a document published Monday on the site of the Seine-Maritime prefecture, 4,252,047 tonnes of products burned at Normandie Logistique, including 1,691 tonnes of Lubrizol products. At this tonnage, it is necessary to add the 5,253 tons of chemical products gone up in smoke on the site of Lubrizol itself.

The Normandy region pledges five million euros to support the farmers affected by the fire of the chemical plant Lubrizol in Rouen, Monday learned from the community. "We are mobilizing five million, in the form of repayable advance, for Norman operators who suffer damages as a result of the accident at Lubrizol," said AFP Hervé Morin, President of the Region.
"Of course, there is no question that it is the taxpayer who pays.At the end, it is Lubrizol who will pay," assured the elected centrist. "Opened from October 15 to November 29, 2019, this device consists of a repayable advance capped at 10,000 euros per farm concerned by the fallout of soot resulting from a plume of smoke," said the regional authority in a statement.
