14 October 2019There are 6,500 crimes reported in Italy every day, with a 2.4% drop on an annual basis. But to explode are scams and computer frauds around 518 per day (+ 15%), drug dealing complaints, about 76 with + 2.8% and 27 complaints about extortion with an increase of + 17%.To take this photograph is the ranking published by 'Sole 24 Ore' which analyzes the situation in the 107 provinces of our country.

Leading the ranking of the crimes reported during 2018 is Milan, which with 7,017 complaints for every 100 thousand inhabitants maintains this unflattering leadership, but with a decrease (-5.2%) compared to the previous year, in line with the trend national. Following Rimini and the province, with 6.30 crimes reported, is Florence, with 6,252 complaints and, this time, an increase + 9.5% compared to those filed in 2017.
Regions with less crime
The other side of the coin is that of the territories less exposed to crime: at the bottom of the ranking are Oristano, the last with 1,493 complaints registered per 100,000 inhabitants, Pordenone (2,125) and Benevento (2,128). Provinces in which the number of reported crimes is low and is gradually decreasing: if Pordenone and the province have registered a 2.8% drop, in line with the national average, in Oristano and Benevento they went further with a -8 , 2% and -10.9%.
Milan for theft first, Rome for production and drug dealing
In Rome, sixth in the standings, it should be a 'negative' record for production, trafficking and drug dealing, Milan, on the other hand, continues to stand out in terms of theft, and is first ahead of Rimini, while the capital, sixth in the general ranking, is a another '' negative '' record, that of the crimes of production, trafficking and drug dealing which increased by 10.9% compared to what was recorded in 2017. As every year, the index will be used in the 'Quality of life 2019', the ranking that is historically published at the end of the year and that measures the levels of well-being of the territory.
