Washington (AP) - Following the Turkish invasion of Syria, the US government has sanctioned two ministries and three Turkish ministers. This will freeze possible fortunes in the US by Secretary of Defense Hulusi Akar, Energy Minister Fatih Donmez, and Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu. In addition, punitive tariffs on steel imports from Turkey should be raised to 50 percent and negotiations on a trade agreement should be discontinued. Turkey is targeting the Kurdish YPG militia in northern Syria.
