The Dubai Criminal Court has sentenced two Asian defendants to 10 years in jail for bringing in more than 2.1 kilograms of heroin, concealed in a wheelchair used by the first accused while entering the state through Dubai airport, and in the shoes and bags of the second defendant.

A Dubai Customs inspector in the Public Prosecution investigation said that the second suspect was suspected while he was in the Arrivals hall at Dubai Airport Terminal 1, and searched him and displayed the shoe he was wearing on a ray detector revealed the presence of abnormal density, and open the shoe found two pieces of brown inside it.

He added that the suspect's bag and a wheelchair were waited from the luggage, and that another quantity of drugs was found in the bag. The first suspect, who was coming in a wheelchair with an airport employee, waited, and a quantity of heroin was also found in his bag. Customs in the wheelchair on which he was sitting, the right frame was unscrewed and another quantity was found, and a dent was also observed in the iron bars of the chair, which was punctured to show a brown powder stuffed inside the bars.

The inspector pointed out that the two suspects concealed the drugs in their bags in a technical manner on the parties, but were reached and referred to the General Anti-Narcotics Department, which interrogated them and then referred them to the Public Prosecutor, who was charged with bringing and possessing drugs for the purpose of promoting them, and the Criminal Court convicted them and imprisoned them for 10 years.
