The group M6 was victim of "a computer attack malicious" Saturday morning but could continue to ensure "the good diffusion of the programs on all the antennes TV and radio," he indicated on Twitter Sunday.
"The M6 Group was targeted Saturday morning by a malicious computer attack.The rapid and effective intervention of our experts in cybersecurity has continued to ensure the smooth dissemination of programs on all our TV and radio antennas" , according to the tweet.
"All teams in the group are mobilized to restore the proper functioning of all our equipment and computer resources," he continued.
The last cyberattack of magnitude reported by a media in France was that of TV5 Monde in 2015, the group had lost control of its websites, its accounts on social networks, and had to cut for several hours the programs of its 11 channels.
