Three weeks ago, preparations for today's demonstration in Norrköping started. As so often nowadays, it was with the help of social media that the information was disseminated.

Vesa Saranpää, Vice Chairman of the Teachers' Association's local department in Norrköping. He claims that there is too little resources in today's school and that it gets tangible results.

- The students are doing worse and the teachers are getting sick of stress, he tells SVT.

Kikki Liljeblad (S) is chairman of the education board in the municipality of Norrköping. She believes that no politician, regardless of party color, wants to cut back.

- I also think that the school should have a lot more money, but we have the money we have, says Liljeblad.

She also emphasizes that if the quartet's budget proposals go through later this month, the Education Board will have a lower savings requirement than many other municipal committees.

At today's demonstration in Norrköping, just under 100 people participated.
