This came during a press conference held by the Ministry yesterday, at the Intercontinental Festival City - Dubai, to announce the launch of the national campaign for the prevention of seasonal influenza.

The Ministry of Health and Community Protection yesterday launched its annual national awareness campaign for the prevention of seasonal influenza, with the aim of raising health awareness among all members of the community of the importance of vaccination against them, and raising awareness among health workers and training them on global best practices, to prevent influenza virus and risks, and provide adequate vaccines to vaccinate target groups And raise the proportion of vaccine coverage.

Al-Rand stressed the importance of the national campaign to raise awareness of the prevention of "seasonal flu", which focuses on developing the health system and enhancing its efficiency, with the aim of achieving prevention and control of community members from infectious diseases, and through raising the efficiency of health workers periodically using the latest scientific methods. Seasonality poses a challenge to health systems around the world, leading to a health, social and economic burden.
