According to the press service of the Kuzbass administration, the decision to perpetuate the memory was made by the governor of the region, Sergei Tsivilev, during a conversation with local residents.
“In the course of communication with local residents, a decision was made to reconstruct the House of Culture and the adjacent territory, as well as to overhaul the roads leading to Listvyanka, the issue of water supply will also be one of the priorities,” the administration said.
It is noted that it is planned to organize a full-fledged museum of Alexei Leonov in the House of Culture, as well as assign a name to the cultural institution.
