05 September 2018The balance sheet of typhoon Jebi in Japan has further worsened: 11 dead and at least 300 wounded. In the last hours it was learned that a school group with 160 children was stranded near Kyoto due to bad weather, and two of them were transported by helicopter to the hospital. The Kansai airport of Osaka remains closed until a date to be established, and after the evacuation of 5,000 people stuck in the airport yesterday, an estimate is made of the damage suffered.



Typhoon Jebi - the 21st of the season and defined as the most powerful in the last 25 years by the national meteorological agency - turned into a low-pressure system in the morning, leaving behind the island of Hokkaido and heading towards Sakhalin, in Russia.
