- I can't forgive myself, yet. It is a process that I am still working on. And telling others about this might be a step in that process. Anyone who hears this gets to feel and reflect on their life for themselves, says Solveig.

Today she is 59 years old and it has been a long time since she was diagnosed with transsexualism. At the age of 18, she received the first injections of testosterone. The breasts were operated on and Solveig sterilized, according to current legislation.

Wanted to avoid the comments

- My transition was an escape from being a woman. You have to be in a certain way, look in a certain way and you have to do things and such. And I hated the surroundings, especially the behavior of guys against the fact that you have a couple of breasts, she says.

Instead, she wanted to be free and strong, she says, keeping up with horses and avoiding the surrounding comments about her body.

"Now I dare tell you"

It was after Assignment Review Report that was sent in the spring, the Tran Train and the teenage girls, that Solveig heard from the editorial staff. She posted #metoo in a comment on Facebook.

- In the program Sametti was included and I recognized myself very much in her. And it is thanks to her that I now dare to tell you about this. It was like, Oh, I'm not alone in the whole world for doing this.

Assignment review mini-documentary "When Solveig regretted" can be seen on SVT Play.
