New sequel to the case of Carlos Ghosn, the former CEO of Renault swept away by a scandal of malpractices in Japan : the board of the French car manufacturer has ruled Friday his dolphin Thierry Bolloré.

After several days of rumors about a reorganization at its head, Renault had convened Friday morning a board of directors "to decide on the governance of the group."

"At this meeting, the Board of Directors decided to put an end to the mandates of General Manager of Renault SA and President of Renault SAS of Mr. Thierry Bolloré with immediate effect," announces Renault in a statement.

Turn the page of the Ghosn era

Clotilde Delbos is appointed Interim Executive Director, "the time to conduct a process to nominate a new CEO," the group adds. She will be assisted in her new role by José-Vicente de los Mozos, director of manufacturing and logistics and another pillar of the executive committee, and by Olivier Murguet, commercial director of Renault. Both are appointed Assistant Directors General.

It is for the builder a way to definitely turn the page of the era Carlos Ghosn, his former fallen CEO, who is awaiting trial in Japan where he was indicted and placed under house arrest for alleged multiple malpractices. Ghosn had made Thierry Bolloré his presumptive successor.

In an unusual move, Thierry Bolloré had previously denounced Thursday in an interview with Echoes a "disturbing coup de force" and a risk of destabilization.
