“In order to ensure the accelerated development of artificial intelligence in Russia ... I decide to approve the attached National Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence for the period until 2030,” the text of the decree published on the official Internet portal of legal information says.
Putin instructed the government by December 15 to ensure the introduction of amendments to the national program Digital Economy of Russia, including the development and approval of the federal project Artificial Intelligence.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and the Russian government agreed to jointly develop the high-tech field of artificial intelligence.
