The case of a primary school student in a school in Alexandria governorate caused an uproar in Egypt after a bullying incident that prompted the Ministry of Education to refer the matter to legal affairs.

The Egyptian Minister of Education Tarek Shawky, addressed the educational directorates in various governorates to emphasize the need to preserve students and combat all phenomena of bullying that may be exposed to them, according to the website of the National Media.
The minister stressed that the ministry will not hesitate to "fight the phenomenon of bullying" among school students and work to eliminate this phenomenon, pointing out that it is dangerous for students in schools.
This came after the Directorate of Education in the Governorate of Alexandria issued a decision to cancel the assignment of the Director of Omar Makram Elementary Evening School to manage the park, because of a failure in the performance of his duties and job duty.
The social worker at the same school was ruled out until the investigation was completed, while the guardian referred the student (assailant) to the school protection committee to enforce the regulation.

At the hospital, the child, Rowan, replied, "My father's work is halal and he does not have anything wrong." She is on her sick bed. She is being held in the student hospital in Sporting in Alexandria for treatment.
