The Anatolia news agency revealed what it described as attempts to manipulate and mislead the accounts started by close to the PKK and the Kurdish People's Protection Units, on social networking sites, with the launch of the military operation "spring of peace" in northern Syria.

The agency noted that the accounts close to these groups began to publish pictures of attacks and massacres occurred in different parts of the world and attributed to the operation of the spring of peace.

One of the images, published in 2018, is from a tank of the Saudi-led Arab coalition forces during the military intervention in Yemen, with the image of the tank modified and the Turkish flag on it to show that it is a Turkish tank from the spring peace operation.

A photo of an Israeli tank that caught fire in Gaza in July 2014 was also falsified as a Turkish tank taken during Operation Peace Spring.

These accounts published a photo of a Syrian man carrying his daughter in a neighborhood demolished by the Syrian regime in August 2015, and a picture of a Syrian mother with her children dating back to 2014, which they said were taken in areas of Operation Spring.

The accounts attributed a picture of Syrian children in a health center in Idlib city affected by the air strikes of the regime and its allies as the latest images of the Turkish attack.

Once again, a photo of a Syrian child bloodied as a result of Russian airstrikes in Idlib in August 2016 was presented and published in English as a photo taken from Operation Spring Well.

Anatolia reported that close accounts of what it described as terrorist organizations have been publishing pictures of massacres in different parts of the world, attributed to the operations of the Euphrates Shield in the northern countryside of Aleppo province (August 2016) and the "olive branch" in Afrin region (January / January 2018) Northern Syria.

The accounts included old photographs of the Khojaly massacre committed by Armenian forces in the Azerbaijani city of Khojaly on February 26, 1992, in an attempt to mislead public opinion, and accuse Turkey of massacres during its military operations, which Turkey says is aimed at eliminating the strongholds of terrorism and establishing peace and stability in the region. .

On Wednesday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the launch of his country's army in cooperation with Syrian opposition forces Operation Spring of Peace in the area east of the Euphrates River (northern Syria); .
