In 2008, 7.3 million passengers were transported by passenger taxi. In 2018, this figure increased to 30.1 million.

According to the methodology of Rosstat, when calculating this indicator, we mean the total number of passengers transported by one or another type of transport during the year.

It also provides data on transportation by other types of public transport. So, in Russia the number of people using air transport over the past ten years has more than doubled: in 2008, 51 million people used air transport, and in 2018 - 118 million.

At the same time, the number of passengers transported by train decreased from 1.3 billion in 2008 to 1.1 billion in 2018.

At the same time, a drop in indicators was recorded in tram transportation, where the number of passengers over the past ten years decreased from 2.5 to 1.2 billion.

Buses began to travel less often: the number of passenger traffic fell over the same period from 14.7 to 10.9 billion.

The total number of passengers transported by all types of transport is also decreasing: since 2008 it has decreased from 25 to 18 billion.

It was previously reported that over the past four years, car sharing services in Moscow have been used 58 million times.
