The Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani discussed in a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan the latest regional and international developments, especially the latest developments in Syria.
The Qatari News Agency (QNA) said that during the call, they reviewed the strategic relations between the two brotherly countries and ways of boosting them.
Earlier Wednesday, the Turkish president announced the launch of his country's army in cooperation with the Syrian National Army, the operation "spring of peace" military in the area east of the Euphrates River in northern Syria.
