In Senegal, the Interior Minister announced Thursday the restoration of entry visas for foreigners, excluding Cedeao. This mandatory visa had already been introduced in 2013, and then abolished in 2015, much to the relief of tourism professionals. The authorities put forward security reasons to justify this measure.

For security reasons, in Senegal, we need to know who comes, who comes in and we need to be able to control them.
