“In connection with the situation that happened during the visit of State Duma deputy Inga Yumasheva to the United States, trips to the United States by the deputy corps will be suspended,” she said in her Telegram channel.

She specified that deputies will not fly to the United States until the US authorities explain the reason for the interrogation of Yumasheva and apologize.

On October 6, it became known that an FBI officer interrogated State Duma deputy Inga Yumasheva for an hour, who arrived in the United States to take part in the Fort Ross Dialogue forum.

A member of the Federation Council’s Defense and Security Committee Franz Klintsevich, in an interview with the newspaper Vzglyad, said that both houses of the Russian parliament would study the situation.
