“The draft law proposes to change the official salary of a person filling the regional state position of the Governor of the Irkutsk region from“ 18880 rubles ”to“ 27167 rubles, ”the statement says the legal department of the Legislative Assembly for the project.
As clarified in the explanatory note, the amount consists of the amount that was established before the reduction of 10% in 2016, taking into account the indexation of official salaries of people who fill public positions in the Irkutsk region by 4% in 2018 and 2019 and an increase of 20% from 1 October of this year.
At the same time, it is noted that the draft law proposes to provide for a “new guarantee of the activities of persons filling regional state posts in the form of payment of bonus remuneration”.
The document of the regional chamber of control and accountability states that as of January 1, 2019, the number of government posts in the Irkutsk region was 84 units, while the actual number was 74.
Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin signed a decree on a 4.3% increase in salaries to the president and chairman of the Russian government.
Also, Putin signed decrees on increasing salaries to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin and Russian Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika by 4.3% from October 1, 2019.
