British star Fatboy Slim paid tribute to Greta Thunberg by airing a remix of her hit "Right Here, Right Now" using the speech of the Swedish spokesperson for the fight against the climate crisis at the United Nations.

The 56-year-old DJ played the remix, directed by South African electro artist David Scott, when he performed Friday in Gateshead, in the north-east of England, a filmed and poster-based performance. social media where she became viral.

This remix takes up the words of Greta Thunberg during her speech at the United Nations where she demanded measures "here and now" to fight against the climate crisis.

It also includes other excerpts from this passionate speech delivered in New York last month by the 16-year-old girl.

"It was quite late in the night when Greta spoke at the UN and I saw the video, and as soon as she said: + right here, right now +, Fatboy Slim's song came to me in head and I knew I had to create a mashup (video editing), "said David Scott to AFP.

This video, which featured images of Greta Thunberg's speech, with the remix in the background, was reposted on Instagram by Fatboy Slim (https://www.instagram.com/p/B21ShCDg6Vl/).

"When Fatboy Slim took the video and reposted it, it was a massive shock and a huge honor," said David Scott, who says he has "always admired it".
