09 October 2019I pm Antonio D'Amato and Nino Di Matteo are the new directors of the CSM. D'Amato was the most voted magistrate. He is of Independent Judiciary, the current most involved in the storm that hit the Superior Council of the Magistracy for the story of the appointments, linked to the investigation of Perugia on the prosecutor Luca Palamara.

D'Amato, deputy prosecutor in Santa Maria Capua Vetere, had 1460 votes, while Di Matteo, of Autonomy and Independence, pm of the state-mafia negotiation process and now substitute to the DNA, obtained 1184.

D'Amato and Di Matteo replace Palazzo dei Marescialli with the two togatists Antonio Lepre and Luigi Spina, who resigned after the scandal that swept the CSM over the facts that emerged from the Perugia investigation into the appointment of the Rome prosecutor.
