Greenpeace and The Blue Dream Project will monitor plastic pollution levels at sea for three weeks, particularly in the Central Tyrrhenian Sea. A research expedition that will end in Tuscany on 8 June, on the occasion of World Oceans Day.

On the occasion of the press conference to present the tour, which will be held Tuesday, May 21 at 11.00 at the Conference Hall of the Navy League of Ostia, researchers from the Department of Comparative Biomedicine and Nutrition of the University of Padua, center of reference for autopsies on the large cetaceans stranded along the Italian coasts, they will present a preliminary report on the stranding of cetaceans in Italy, with a focus precisely on sperm whales and plastic.
