Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that under the current situation and circumstances, there is a clear Saudi desire for dialogue with Iran, he said.

Zarif added that his country is ready for dialogue, provided that the solution to the problems of the region is not based on killing people, as is happening in Yemen, he said.

"If the Saudis want to negotiate with Iran and if they want to discuss regional issues at the negotiating table and not kill people, they will definitely find the Islamic Republic with them," Zarif was quoted as saying by the state broadcaster.

A few days ago, Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said Iran's doors were always open to dialogue with Saudi Arabia to find solutions to common issues. He welcomed the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for dialogue.

Larijani said in remarks to Al-Jazeera that "the scenarios" that Saudi attention to dialogue will contribute to finding solutions instead of relying on America, and that Mohammed bin Salman to clarify the quality of the political solution, which he said he preferred to war with Iran.
