The PSOE-M is working on the expulsion of the party of the mayor of Móstoles, Noelia Posse, after the different cases of nepotism and the situation of castling that is leading the mayor, who refuses to leave office.

According to party sources, the formation is legally arming the expulsion of Posse to "be as safe as possible" without entering into controversial hiring and promotion whether legal or not. In the PSOE-M remember that the statutes of the party contemplate the expulsion in the case that the image of the formation is being harmed from a public office.

Specifically, point 3.1 of the party's code of ethics establishes that the behavior of political positions “must be centered on honesty as a personal virtue and on the commitment, on the performance of the charges, of service to the general interests, which they must always prevail over individuals, for which situations that can generate conflict between both interests must be avoided ».

In recent weeks, up to seven controversial hires have been known by the mayor, who has been forced to revoke her sister's appointment and her uncle, and a childhood friend, among others.

Within the expulsion process, Posse must still give explanations to the Regional Ethics Committee, and once he makes a decision, he could appeal it to the federal Ethics Committee.

This scenario is being drawn in the event that Posse does not leave his post before the full disapproval summoned for the next day 21, in which even his Government partners, Win Móstoles and Podemos, will turn their backs on him. The last to ask for his resignation has been the purple formation.

His spokesman in Madrid, Jesús Santos, said yesterday that the situation is "unsustainable", so he asked Posse to "step aside and resign to reissue the progress pact under conditions that guarantee transparency and stability ». According to Santos, "the most important thing" is now "to ensure a progressive government in the short, medium and long term" in the locality, so Posse "has to step aside."

Before the plenary of the 21st, the addresses of Podemos and the PSOE will hold a meeting to discuss the situation in the locality. So extreme is the situation that until the always restrained Angel Gabilondo, a socialist spokesman at the Madrid Assembly, yesterday launched a message to Posse: "I think there are better challenges than living enduring."
