As noted in the Kremlin, the Russian leader will hold a regular meeting with the government, during which he will discuss the improvement of control and oversight mechanisms.

On September 8th, a single voting day was held in Russia. In 16 regions of the country, elections were held for the heads of regions.

In particular, self-nominated Alexander Beglov won in St. Petersburg, and the current head of the region, Vladimir Vladimirov, won in the Stavropol Territory.

As noted by the Prime Minister, chairman of United Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, the party is satisfied with the results of the elections held on a single voting day.
