“Protests in Ecuador are the responsibility of the International Monetary Fund, not the government of Venezuela,” RIA Novosti quoted RIA Novosti as saying.

On October 3, the head of Ecuador, Lenin Moreno, announced the introduction of a state of emergency in the country because of protests that began after the government took economic measures.

Moreno later accused the former president of Ecuador, Rafael Correa and Maduro, of the protests that swept the country.
