The departure of the American stock exchanges in the red certainly does not help the Europeans, already very weak.

Milan lost over one point, Frankfurt and Paris almost one point and London lost 0.4%.

The spread between Italian BTP and German Bund widens back to 145 basis points with the ten-year yield at 0.85%.

The euro is trading at 1.0977 against the dollar.

In the meantime, gold, the ultimate safe haven, is running at $ 1,507.9 an ounce: a clear signal on investors' concerns about the current strong geopolitical tensions.
