In Turkey, called a temporary measure of action in northeast Syria

"During a telephone conversation, Mr. Mevlut Cavusoglu stressed that Turkey respects the territorial integrity of Syria, saying that Turkey’s step in this region is temporary," the Iranian Foreign Ministry quoted RIA Novosti as saying.

The head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, in turn, stated the need to respect the territorial integrity of Syria and establish a safe environment there. In addition, the minister stressed that Tehran is opposed to hostilities.

Earlier media reported that Turkish aviation attacked the base of Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Hasek province in northeastern Syria.
