The deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Alexei Goncharenko wrote about this on his Facebook page.

“Just now, the Odessa regional council adopted an appeal to the president, the Verkhovna Rada and the cabinet demanding not to open the land market in the wild format that the cabinet introduced. I spoke and also supported this appeal, ”he said, attaching a photo of the address to the post.

According to Odessa parliamentarians, if the sale is approved, then foreigners will buy the land and Ukraine will lose its independence.

Earlier, the Ukrainian government approved a bill on land reform. The document will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada.

As the leader of the Fatherland party, Yulia Tymoshenko, said the bill on the land market approved by the government will sell 72% of the state’s territory to foreigners.

In an interview with 360 TV channel, Ukrainian political analyst Mikhail Pogrebinsky commented on reform plans in Ukraine, including the possibility of lifting the moratorium on the sale of agricultural land.
