It was the last August this year that the suspected rape must have taken place at Västra kanalgatan in central Södertälje. According to police, several witnessed the incident and the suspected man was arrested in connection with the scene. He is known by the police since before.
According to the prosecution, the 48-year-old man and the victim must have performed an oral sexual intercourse and according to several witnesses heard, the woman must have been in a vulnerable situation because she was intoxicated and thus unable to consent to the sexual acts.
"Because of the seriousness of the violation, the sexual acts were comparable to intercourse," the prosecutor writes in his lawsuit.
