Argentine legend Diego Maradona has been shown to be happy with his team's first win in the Argentine football league.

Two late goals ended Diego Maradona's first win at Gimnasia, after the latter beat Godoy Cruz 4-2 in the Argentine championship on Saturday.

Victor Ayala (83) and Matias Garcia (87) scored after two Godoy players were sent off.

The win gave morale to the 1986 world champion, after taking over at Gimnasia last month.

After three defeats with the former Argentine captain, Gimnasia moved to the bottom of the standings with four points from nine games, one ahead of Godoy.
