The accident occurred at 16 hours outside Upphärad in Trollhättan. It must have been a so-called para pilot with engine, a paratrooper, who had problems in the landing. The person was taken to hospital.
- The screen seems to have collapsed at the end and spirals down to the ground. The pilot was hurt in the back and one leg, but in consciousness, says Birgitta Eckermark, assistant flight rescue manager at Sjö and the flight rescue center.
The Maritime and Rescue Center received the alarm after the emergency services and ambulance were already alerted to the scene.
"We are now sending further information to the respective airlines and the Accident Investigation Board," says Birgitta Eckermark.
