The company explained that internal checks established that part of the information in the distributed archive does contain data from the subscriber base of fixed Internet clients (BBA), while the company noted that a significant part of the information is outdated.
“At the end of 2017, the company recorded a leak of part of the information about broadband customers due to malicious actions by a number of individuals,” the company said.
Beeline emphasized that "measures were immediately taken to stop the recurrence of such incidents and to hold those responsible to justice."
Earlier it was reported that in Sberbank during the investigation of the leak of client data, an attacker was identified who tried to steal the information.
