On arrival in these hours on the northern regions a perturbation of Atlantic origin that will bring clouds and first precipitations. Tomorrow, the disturbance will cross the entire national territory, affecting above all the regions of the Tyrrhenian side, with phenomenology that is at times intense, gradually decreasing in the afternoon at the Center. Temperatures will decrease significantly in the Center-South and winds will intensify from the northern quadrants.

On the basis of the available forecasts, the Civil Protection Department in agreement with the regions involved - which are responsible for the activation of the civil protection systems in the territories concerned - has issued a notice of adverse weather conditions. The weather phenomena, impacting on the different areas of the country, could determine hydrogeological and hydraulic criticalities which are reported, in a national summary, in the national criticality and alert bulletin that can be consulted on the Department website.

The warning includes from the early hours of Monday 7 October, precipitations of a predominantly inverted or temporal nature, on the coastal sectors of Tuscany, Lazio, Campania and Basilicata. From late morning tomorrow, rainfall is expected, with a predominantly inverted or temporal character, on Calabria and Sicily. The phenomena will be accompanied by heavy rain showers, frequent electrical activity, local hailstorms and strong gusts of wind. From the early hours of tomorrow, moreover, expected strong or stormy northern winds, on Liguria, western Emilia-Romagna and on the coastal and island sectors of Tuscany, Lazio and Campania, with possible sea storms on the exposed coasts.

Orange alert on the northern Ionian side of Calabria and on the north-eastern sector of Sicily. Also assessed as a yellow alert on the extreme southern area of ​​Tuscany and on the islands, on most of Lazio and Campania, on Abruzzo, Molise, Basilicata, Puglia and on the remaining territories of Calabria and Sicily.
