“It is very simple to extend the contract as is,” RIA Novosti quoted Antonov as saying.
He noted that strategic stability issues should be tackled if Russia and the United States have concerns about this.
“We are still waiting for a positive response from the American side,” the ambassador added.
Anatoly Antonov said earlier that Moscow is ready to give Washington guarantees of non-interference in internal affairs.
