The Sheikh Zayed Housing Program has approved 522 housing subsidies worth AED 410 million.

This follows the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development and Chairman of the Program, said that the UAE is keen to ensure social cohesion through the initiatives implemented by the program in cooperation with the housing institutions in various Emirates. Sustainability is a testimony to the quality of what the government offers its citizens to ensure a dignified and safe life. He added that the program looks at the needs of the national family and takes into consideration their aspirations. With regard to housing subsidy decisions, 522 housing subsidy decisions were adopted, divided between the categories of housing loans and housing grants. A decision was also issued among the beneficiaries of the “quick decision” and a government housing.
