- We had a tent at the Hamnfesten and saw that the need was great. We had a total of 300 in the tent every night. Very many who were sad and in need of support, says Sanna Danielsson at the girls' school in Arvika.

She says there are many young people eating out for the first time without parents and that things are not always going well.

- It doesn't have to be about alcohol without feeling lonely and being creepy, but usually it's about loneliness, feeling outside, says Sanna Danielsson.

May need to talk to other than the parents

And although there are many parents in town, Sanna Danielsson points out that it is not always enough for the young people.

- You may not want to talk to your parents about everything. Everyone does not even have a good relationship with their parents and then they can come to us.

We are there to help, not to put anyone there, she says.

Young guys also visited the tent

Something they also noticed during the harbor party was that it wasn't just young girls who came to the tent.

- When we only had the safety walks, most of the girls we came in contact with, but when we had the tent, many young guys came to us just to sit and have a quiet time and talk. It is noticeable that the need exists for them too, says Sanna Danielsson.

The girl boy will be in the tent between 20:00 and 02:00 and will go on safety walks from 22:00 on both Friday and Saturday evening.
