Paris striker Mauro Icardi, who arrived at the very end of the summer transfer window, will get his first start in Ligue 1 against Angers on Saturday (17:30), in an eleven that includes Leandro Paredes but not Angel Di Maria, substitute.
The Argentine striker scored Tuesday in the Champions League among the Turks Galatasaray (1-0), but is still waiting to find the nets in the Championship.
Coach Thomas Tuchel, facing a cascade of injuries including those of Kylian Mbappé and Edinson Cavani, can count on his superstar Neymar for the shock of the 9th day against the SCO, surprise dauphin of the PSG.
In the middle, he chose to relaunch Leandro Paredes, still disappointing against Reims for his sole tenure of the season, which ended in a defeat in Paris (2-0) on September 25. The Argentine will evolve alongside Marco Verratti and Idrissa Gueye.
Spaniard Ander Herrera also signs his return to the eleven.
Di Maria and Thomas Meunier, uncertain because of a thigh pain, will kick off the bench. Marquinhos is left to rest.
Rachid Alioui, who scored three goals in his last two games, will start at the forefront of the Angers attack, the most prolific in the Championship with 16 goals.
The Franco-Moroccan is assisted by Pierrick Capelle and Casimir Ninga.
