The Minister of Health and Community Protection, Minister of Federal National Council Affairs, and Chairman of the National Elections Committee, Abdul Rahman Al Owais, in response to a question to "Emirates Today": The Committee adopted a single vote system in the elections of the Council, to achieve the principle of transparency in selection

It is very difficult to put members of electoral bodies in the challenge of credibility and transparency so that they choose who they see as their representative, regardless of the gender of the candidate. If the member of the electoral college sees the candidate or candidate as competent, and trusts that this or that person is able to communicate his voice, This is a challenge, and if every member of the electoral body is allowed to vote, we are moving away from transparency and allowing for alliances between candidates and party,

He continued: `` We do not see a difference between men and women, both of which are the same. Therefore, the committee gave the voter the opportunity to choose who he sees as his representative under the dome of the Federal National Council, '' pointing out that women in the UAE have proven their efficiency, so we made sure to put the opportunity to choose the voter.

Regarding the observations received by the Committee on the conduct of the voting process, both voters and candidates, he said that the National Election Commission has 40 voting centers nationwide, and the observations received by the Committee are minor, including the denunciation of the materials used, stressing that they are natural and merely simple observations.

He added that many observers, for the electoral process in the country, both public benefit associations and others, stressed that it is one of the most efficient, easy and transparent electoral processes, noting that the electoral experience in the country is witnessing a great development, and will continue in this way until it reaches the best

He pointed out that the presence of voters to the polling stations is remarkable, especially in the Dubai World Trade Center, expected to see a greater presence in the coming hours, as "we are still in the early hours of the main voting day."
