The report said that the university has taken many initiatives in the face of terrorism and extremism, pointing out its awareness of the role of the media in raising awareness of the individual and society about the dangers of terrorism, and immune them from negative phenomena, and its belief in the importance of tolerance and communication between human societies, different tongues, races and beliefs.

The report published by the university on its website that the religious conflicts on the ground evidence of the absence of tolerance, stressing that terrorism is a negative phenomenon that is necrosis in the body of society, and requires decisive confrontation, accompanied by objective and impartial media, disseminating a culture of tolerance and acceptance of the other.

He pointed out that the media needs a serious pause to review the intellectual system that causes deviation, and lead to hatred of the other, and monopolize the right and right, calling for a good search in the vacuum that arises when the low level of education and culture among young people, with plans to ensure the transmission of a moderate speech, focusing on Behavioral and spiritual values, good morals, and noble human values, such as peaceful coexistence, and the importance of contributing to family and community building.

He said that «what is required of all of us to contribute to the values ​​of tolerance and moderation, and coexistence, regardless of differences in race, religion, culture, and address agendas that seek to provoke chaos and confusion».

The report pointed out that the media institutions need to seriously rethink the process of accurate evaluation of the risks of the impact of misleading media on the formation of Arab public opinion, by identifying the most important challenges, threats and weaknesses, stressing that the threat posed by misleading media requires an assessment of the intellectual and cultural immunity of society, to face the thought of Unprecedented Bmagalath and extremism.
