Party of Su-34 fighters handed over to the Ministry of Defense


The Chkalov Novosibirsk Aviation Plant (part of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC)) handed over to the Russian Ministry of Defense new Su-34 fighter-bombers.

This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the UAC.

“Serial production and supply of the latest aviation systems is not only our contribution to strengthening the Russian aerospace forces, but also ensuring the loading of high-tech enterprises of the corporation,” said Yury Slyusar, Director General of PJSC UAC.

In August, Air Force Commander, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Aerospace Forces of Russia Sergey Dronov said that state tests of fifth-generation fighters Su-57 are planned to be completed in 2019, and the latest MiG-35 fighters will be certified by the end of 2021.
