Between October 1-13, the City of Karlstad has focused on global issues in a venture they call Global Karlstad. In addition to the facade film, the agenda includes a photo exhibition at Värmland's Museum, a day of change and a lecture with the Karlstad-based climate activist Emma Sundh. The event is a collaboration with Sweden's aid authority Sida.
- There are many major global challenges and time is scarce. We must all be helped, locally and globally. The cooperation with Karlstad is exciting and important. The commitment that is here is inspiring and helps to achieve the Global Goals, says Maria Selin, Head of Director General's Staff at Sida.
