The scrap case came at the municipal council's meeting in Bollnäs earlier this week and the citizens proposal was about the decay of the town hall square and it all started with the fountain being removed. Maybe because an elephant pooped in it, the citizen reasoned in his letter.
And there it broke for President Lindberg, and the rest of the proxy hall followed.

And to the question, has that really happened?
The answer is yes. In the late 1970s, a circus visited Bollnäs and the elephants were transported from the railway station to Långnäs through the city. One of the elephants broke off the caravan and then popped into the fountain on the town hall square.
