• The newspaper's 'number two' in Madrid refuses to talk about resignations and denies that there is a crisis

A judge in Madrid has declared void the dismissal of the former deputy of Podemos Miguel Vila as a party worker, who is forced to reinstate him in a sentence admitting the plaintiff's argument that he was "retaliated" for not being related to the sector of Pablo Iglesias.

The magistrate of the Social Court number 36 of Madrid, Patricia del Valle , has given the reason to Vila in a sentence to which Efe has had access in which she considers that her dismissal was an "illicit reaction to political affinity" of the former deputy and a violation of articles 14 and 24 of the Constitution .

Vila worked since October 2014 as an image and sound technician for Podemos and was elected deputy by the Burgos constituency in the December 2015 elections and in the June 2016 election replay.

For that reason, it caused social security leave and high in the special regime of parliamentarians until the Courts dissolved on March 5 of this year.

Then, being out of the Permanent Deputation of Congress , he requested compensation for transition to which parliamentarians are entitled until new elections are held and, as he was not a candidate in the elections of April 28, he claimed the corresponding compensation for cessation of his parliamentary activity.

We also asked Podemos to re-enter his job, but he obtained a refusal in response. The party argued not to have proof that at the time it requested a forced leave due to being elected deputy, but a voluntary leave as an employee.

Likewise, the Iglesias party claimed that Vila ceased as a deputy on March 5 and did not request re-entry until April 26, exceeding the month established by law.

But the judge rejects the breach of the deadline and that Miguel Vila expressed his willingness to break the employment relationship, but also enters into the causes of dismissal, which the former deputy directly linked with his low affinity with the "so-called Pabloite sector", given that He is part of the group close to Íñigo Errejón.

He is also right in that regard, by sentencing that it is not "controversial" that it is not akin to that sector, something that the former leader of Podemos Jorge Lago , also an Ergonist, ratified in the trial.

The magistrate emphasizes that Podemos did not present any evidence that the dismissal was not a "retaliation" and merely defended that Vila did not request re-entry within the time limit set by law, something that, according to the sentence, is not true.

Therefore, it considers that there is no "justification" for the dismissal and declares it void, it obliges the readmission of the former deputy and the payment of the salaries that he has ceased to receive from May until the date of readmission at the rate of 63.05 daily euros.
